The activeMind AG Management and Technology Consulting has been operating as a consulting and training company since the year 2000. Initially, the focus was on information security, and since 2009, data protection law has also been a growing area of expertise.
Over the years, activeMind AG has specialized in providing comprehensive services, particularly in the role of external data protection officers and external information security officers.
From its headquarters in Munich, activeMind AG expanded to Berlin in 2014, offering its employees two attractive locations.

The activeMind.legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, founded in 2016, focuses on international data protection. The law firm’s attorneys support companies and corporations from around the world in complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national data protection laws in European countries.
By acting as a representative in the Union under the GDPR (for non-European companies) and serving as external European Data Protection Officers (for clients within the EU), the experts at activeMind.legal actively contribute to better data protection in Europe. Both companies and consumers benefit from these efforts.
Employees of activeMind.legal have been working at the Munich and Berlin locations since 2016.
Additional information
Since 2019, our team has also been represented in London. The law firm activeMind.legal UK Ltd. provides consultancy services to companies in the United Kingdom regarding data protection law. With the UK’s exit from the European Union (EU), the data exchange between the UK and the EU has become a significant challenge.
The presence of our location in the United Kingdom makes it easy for our employees to gain international experience within our own company.

The offices of activeMind are located in a modern building, just a few meters away from the Schwabinger Tor tram stop. Shops catering to all your needs and delicious lunch options are just a stone’s throw away.
You can expect a workplace with modern technical infrastructure. We are an (almost) paperless office, and all processes are supported by an optimized, highly secure IT infrastructure, including cloud solutions. We lead by example when it comes to our clients’ technological needs, demonstrating that security doesn’t have to compromise innovative technology.
The office spaces are designed with a modern touch and offer ample natural light through large windows. A fully equipped team kitchen, a stylish conference room, and an employee meeting point with comfortable sofas complete our comprehensive office concept.
